The Director, with a few words of encouragement stated that “Being a Public Servant is never an easy job much less being an exemplary one.  We must see ourselves as professionals both at work and at home.  We must be examples in our work life and our private life.  These are not easy standards to live by, but we must challenge ourselves to always do better, and strive to be better.

The day would not have been a success without the Deputy Director, Ms. Gemma Thornil, Ms. Kearl Blanchard and Ms. Nicketa Franklin who worked tirelessly to organize the day’s activity. In addressing the staff Ms. Thornil expressed her gratitude and appreciation to all staff for their contribution to the work of the office and by extension as public servants;   Every staff member of this office has assisted in one way or another in promoting integrity and accountability within the public service by the work they have done.   The staff was encouraged to continue to fight the good fight to make the office an impactful and exemplary department.

The day culminated with lunch for all staff as a small gesture of appreciation.
